Button Hoops Colour wheel

I made these for a swap partner recently - I spotted something similar on her pinterest with  note saying maybe a rainbow of them would be nice. Well, I decided to orientate them so they could be hung together to form a colour wheel:



Of course they could also be hung them the other way around (with the buttons on the outside of the wheel) or in a line, or completely separately, to suit whatever decor is going on already

I had fun making them, I love playing with buttons, and it was  a great chance to practice french knots!

i LOVE this!!! such a pretty idea and such nice button choices! I especially like how you used beads(?) to fill out some of the spaces. A beautiful design!

Edit: wait, are those french knots, not beads?? Lovelier and lovelier!

Ah that's great, to be able to re-do decor just like that  I'm seriously eyeballing some of those buttons... You must have a nice stash!
