Ages ago, a friend made a pair of bottle carriers for me out of a pair of black jean legs. she used the cuffs to make the straps.
So sturdy! it's been with me for more than 20 years, and to more walkabouts/countries than I can remember Smiley

Back in those days, I didn't see in the stores those comfy, temp keeping carriers you can buy now.

One of the advantages, especially in unsafe areas, was the possibility to stuff my important possessions (camera, money etc) in the bottom of the sown leg, with no one the wizer, and no one thinking to pickpocket such unimpressive carrier.

they're starting to fall apart now. maybe it is time to make new ones.

I make little handbags out of them. I have 2 daughters and whenever they have a birthday party invite I make a jean leg handbag. The kids love them
