When I decided to start printing my own shirts I got asked by a woman on my roller derby league if I would do a design for her company, Derby Skulz (www.derbyskulz.com) for RollerCon. RollerCon is a giant convention in Vegas every year of roller derby girls. I got a little carried away and made it a 5 color shirt, which made registration of the colors a giant headache.

Image heavy!

The original design and the first test print

First two colors. I debated a lot about having the rays line up and after a few opinions decided to not line them up exactly.

The helmet alignment just about killed me

I didn't really like it until I added the helmet straps. What a difference the details make

The final, 7th (i think) pull of the screens, the logo!! I was so happy when I got to the part.

The final product!! WOOHOOOO!!!

Comments and criticism welcome! Thanks for checking it out :]

Thank you so much!! It definitely made me realize how useful a multi-color press is. That's going to be my next purchase once I sell this run of shirts.  Smiley

hey this is great! lots of love for derby, we've just got into it over the past few years in the UK.

please take this constructively  Smiley , you may wanna look at cutting your stencils so you dont print colours under each other. So you wont see stripey lines under the helmets for instance. I always find it different on fabric from paper printing

really love your design tho  Grin
