This weekend I went to Seattle for my very first Craftster's meetup.  It was pure awesome!  I got to hang out with LimeRiot, Suereal, Camelama, and Eiseldora.  I had such a wonderful time!  We decided ahead of time that I we wanted to do a swap, so anyone who wanted to would make a medium item to offer up.  I decided to make some altered keys for my item, since I have a nice stash of keys.

I used buttons, and old earings, beads and jewels.  Most have pin backs, except the two on the bottom that have a jump ring to be worn on a chain.

Thanks for looking!

Very pretty and so creative! I like the middle one with the leaf best but they are all great!

I like them all too.  My favourite is the third one in the first row.  It's looks like a mother of pearl button?  Nancy

So, so cool.  I <3 the one with the feather, and the one with the wire spiral heart.

I'm also trying to make 7 things a week for a year.  http://mazikeenstudios.blogspot.com/  (Warning: this is usually pretty behind!)

You made some amazing keys! I have to start doing this with my little stash of keys that are just sitting there!
