So I saw a tutorial floating around Pinterest on how to make a beaded braided bracelet.  They looked so pretty!  The tutorial was only a picture of the steps, and I didn't find any words to accompany it, but I managed without.  The idea was easy enough for my brain to wrap around!  And I'm very happy with how they turned out.

Here is the link to the photo tutorial:  http://teahabs.blogspot.co.uk/search/label/seed%20bead

I made mine a little longer than they did.  As you can see from the picture below, it wraps around almost my whole wrist and has a chain and a lobster clasp so that I can wear it looser or tighter, if I so desire.

I made mine a solid color, because I'm just in love with this color and I've always wanted a bracelet like this in this color.  Dream come true!!

These are the first three I made.  I braided them a little looser, and also beaded them in blocks of colors (40 beads of each color on each strand).  These were for other people, so I made the chains longer, too, just in case.  Here we have a fall colored one, a candy corn colored one, and one with different colors of purple.

I'm totally making a whole bunch more of these for Christmas, and just for me to wear, since I absolutely love mine so much!  Its my new favorite bracelet!

Thanks for looking!

EDIT:  Made one more!  These are so much fun to make!  This one is in Hufflepuff colors that I made for the Summer Semester HP Craftalong

You did a wonderful job. And, it looks great with your wedding band. The shapes compliment each other.

Candy Corn!!!! Love it! You could make these go with the holidays or any outfit! Fun idea and they look adorable. I like a bracelet with a little chunk.  Wink I will have to try it out. I am looking for extra's for Christmas that will fit in a small space. Perfect!

These are really pretty.   I checked out the tutorial.   Frankly, I think yours are better than the original !  Did you use wire or sting for your strands?  Nancy

This solid color of braided bracelet is really looking cool..The main thing is that it comes in different colors and all the colors are nice..

I used a heavy fishing line to make these.  I have a huge spool of it that I use.  ^_^
