I spent a couple hours today working on my GDs and I now have 70/160 complete (3 partners, plus a set for me)!

I did this on my sewing table, but I actually hot glued it down. But then again, my "sewing table" is a particle board bookshelf thats only got two shelves and the top to it. Still, I love having it there. Smiley

Good to know mio! I never thought about using the hook as a measuring guide!

And, lissablair, to save the furniture (and you from mom's voice in your head), you could just tape down a measuring tape to the edge of your desk (one of the ones you use for sewing). If you think it'll be in the way, you could tape it to the front edge rather than the desk top itself.

There is nothing on earth more entertaining than watching a pack of half-grown puppies playing in snow for the very first time.

My guess is that she meant ".. to help make some [granny's daughters]... Oh boy (insert overwhelmed, excited, or frusterated sigh here), cats with yarn!" As in, actual cats playing with yarn.
