I saw the post in the past gallery about "you know you want to join" and I do!  But I can't.  Sad  Maybe in round 11 I'll get to comeback.  Right now I can't craft at all.  Sadness.  Anywho - Enjoy everyone!!  Smiley  Can't wait to see the Granny Daughters creations!

We'll miss you Ffrogg!

If all goes well, maybe I can start Round 11 in October!

Excellent! I love when new folks sign up, in addition to the "old faithfuls!"

Today, I am on a quest to find my special Granny's Daughters hook. I don't even know what size it is (it's a random pink plastic hook that doesn't seem to be labeled with the size).

And then, I want to sit in front of my bin of yarn and make a GD in every color I can lay my hands on! Well... maybe 3 in every color- one for each of my partners and one for me!

I have at least 8 colors within 10 feet of where I'm sitting!

I found my hook! Only, it wasn't the anonymous pink one I remembered. It's still pink, but it turns out that it's a K hook (I tend to crochet on the tight side Smiley ).

And, I just made 3 GDs, and wove in the starting tails! (The tail weaving is a big deal for me... usually, I make them all first, and then have a big stack of tails to weave in, and I hate weaving in tails, so this is a huge step for me!)

Throughout the day, I'll be taking mini-breaks, working my way around the room and all of the yarn within reach. Tomorrow, I'll head into the yarn cubby, which is this weird closet built into the wall and extends into the space below what should have been attic stairs. I've got at least 15 bins of yarn in there... it's the most organized pace in the house!

Since I know life will return to it's normal level of crazy right about the time sign-ups end, I want to be just about ready to mail when partners are assigned.

I am 12.5% finished! Or, if I only have 1 partner, I'm 25% finished!

I feel so special...
