THIS is so cool. it looks so much like the 6th book. this is what was written on the back: (which i strongly reccomend reading because it is so cool, it made me giggle a little)

Dear Reader,
If you are reading this then it is to late to back out of the swap. Like other books of A SERIES OF UNFORTUNATE EVENTS this "book" is filled with horrible items for your interest.
If you do not want terrible greeting cards, slithery envelpopes, and awful Count Olaf stickers then you must not open this "book". Instead you should go to your nearest stationary store and purchase cute furry kitten cards. With all due respect,
(name)

Cool envelopes which have the illustration from the front of the "reptile room" (my fav book)  and greeting cards with a drawing from "the wide window"

Awesome stickers!!

Oops, i obviously did something wrong, as it actually says unwanted the right way...not in mirror language. sorry Wink

I absolutely LOVE everything, i hope i didn't forget anything.

These are the most creative and wonderful things that i have ever seen! i could not imagine anything so cool in my wildest dreams (and i dream of cool things!!)

Thank you so much to lady4feet who sent me these great things. i am loving every bit!!

Thanks Pink Hulu, I'm glad you like everything I was worried. You were the first non family person I made anything for!
Here's what I got from leelee.

I love the fabric! The images are cool(the one on the small bag is the one of the stickers I sent to Pink Hulu), I think they're iron on but I'm not sure. Oh and in the tote there are two large pockets. You did a wonderful job!
Here is a better close up of the images.

Don't feel bad! I think I somehow manage to get mid-summer allergies instead of spring allergies like the normal people where I live.  Roll Eyes
Also... if you really need me to I could post pics... I snapped a few. Wink

I will be posting pics of the stuff tinygoatstacker sent me sometime today, hopefully.

No problem. Cheesy

Here is some of the stuff I sent to captain_obvious.
A teal bag with a Baudelaire orphans patch that I embroidered.

The lining:

A VFD pouch:

lining:

I also sent a copy of the Christmas short story by Lemony Snicket entitled "The Lump of Coal" that was published in USA Weekend and that can be seen on their website and "A Series of Unfortunate Recipes" that were put into a painted wooden box with warnings like "Don't eat these!"

I didn't snap a picture of those.. and I can't remember if that was everything. You'll let me know if I left something out, right captain_obvious?  Wink

AND here's the stuff I got in the mail today from tinygoatstacker! Thanks... I like everything!  Wink

First I'll start with this adorable picture that made me giggle. I love the title.  Cheesy

I guess before I post the other stuff I should note that the theme was "Pretend to be Violet."

A blue velvety-ish bag.

2 "actual VFD crow feathers", a notepad, and a matching bookmark.

Hair ribbons, 2 necklaces, and black nail polish.

A VFD magnet set.

The sentence I made on the bag says Volunteer for dungarees. *giggles* I crak myself up.. I know.  Roll Eyes

And... a very fun scarf!

I'm pretty sure that was everything. Thanks again tinygoatstacker! This swap was a fab idea.  Cheesy

I got my package last week. It's SO cute! I got some "inventing tools", a commonplace book, some "sapphire" earrings, a cute mirror that says "So In!", and some pinstriped fabric. Yay!

I got my package yesterday, but i will have to work on posting the pics.  I haven't posted any before and it seems like it is a bit of trouble to figure it out the first time.

Captian Obvious gave me a very cool candy dish decorated with an item from each book and a bag of peppermint candies.  I also got a lemony snicket fridge magnet, a crow pin and a cake sniffer pin.  Very sweet.

Captian Obvious - Thanks for the cool stuff.  Did you make the base of the candy dish?  I've got all kinds of ideas for an item of that shape!

I'm really happy you like the box but no i didn't make it i got it at michael's a year or 2 ago. It was originally a shadow box frame. I thought it was just begging to be a candy dish.  Smiley

I got my package from Pink Hula late last week. Everything is fabulous! Thanks so much! Smiley
She sent little movie pictures, a collaged notebook, hair ribbon, a matching set of earrings, necklace, and bracelet, armwarmers, and (best of all) a black circle skirt!  This basically means I've been running around in Violet attire for several days.  (Did I mention everything?)
Awesome, wonderful package. I even needed a black skirt!
