A happy heart makes the face cheerful! Pr 15:13

A month ago I shared a picture of all the heart-shaped scissors fobs I had made as part of my personal challenge to sew 365 hearts in a year (you can see that post HERE). I'm ready to move on to making some other kind of hearts, so this will be the last you see of my scissors fobs!!

Here are the new fobs:

This picture below shows one on my fingertips, so you can see how small they are--each is about 1 3/8" in each direction.

These last two aren't in the group picture because I gave them away in personal swaps this month:

I have a lot of favorites, but I think my top two are the octopus and the house on the pink background.  If you want to see all the hearts I've done in this challenge so far, you can find them here:  365 Sewn Hearts.

they really are cute. i love the nest with eggs, are the baby birds on the otherside? i also like the initial with the flowers. so is a scissor fob just a decoration for your scissor handle? i'm not familiar with the term...

Yes, jenleahlynn, these are just little decorations for your scissors, and they can also serve as mini pin cushions. And the eggs and the baby birds are actually two separate fobs.

Beachfae, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

I don't have any plans in mind for these fobs, or the most of the rest of the hearts I've made for the 365 challenge, but I accepted this challenge so I have to make hearts, whether they have a purpose or not!  I've given some away, and swapped some, and I intend to make a garland with some...and the rest are just little treasures to have and enjoy!

Thanks everyone for your nice comments.

These are wonderful!  My favourites are the last chicken, and of course the Canadian flag, being a Canuck.

I am the lucky recipient of a couple of these amazing hearts!! You would not believe how small and detailed and absolutely perfect they are in person. Thank you, Leslie Smiley.
