Love  this dress
But how is the top done?

I think it's just a "twisted",  top  or , is it a gathered and than twisted top ?

Can't make my mind up....
Any idea's ?

Gorgeous dress! I can't really tell either  Huh Maybe it's two pieces of fabric twisted together?

Each half of the bust is a strip of fabric that is twice as wide as each boob. No idea how you would actually go about sewing it, but I can see how they are attached. Each half-bust strip twists around the other half-bust strip, then goes back the way it came to be attached to itself.

I think it are 2 pieces :
One facing good side up, one good side down , than sewn together  and twisted .
Than you would end up with  both good parts on the right side .
That would explain the twisted part .

I'll give it a try .
Thank you both
