Any chance we could see YOU model the outfit?

well...i could model the skirt, but unfortunately i still have to tinker with the top. it's a little loose around the bust area...not very safe to wear right now  Wink i'll try to post a pick of me in skirt

thanks to everyone for the awesome comments, and the advice on the pocket issue  Cheesy

Thank you for complying with the personal modeling request. Just as I had figured you look fantastic in the skirt. And I'm with you...the boots and the skirt are a man-killer combination. Rock it, girl, rock it.

Wow...that is truly amazing.  I am in awe!!!

I think you should remove the flaps, but I also think it would be cool if you were to replace the buttons with some shiny black or gunmetal ones, to match the ribbon.

But that's just me loving funky interruptions like that.  Rock on!

Mmmm..gun metal buttons...great idea...I like the skirt with and without the flaps but without + the gun metal buttons sound fabulous.

You did a great job.  I really LOVE the skirt.  I think it looks better with the flaps, it keeps the concept of "this came from dress pants" which is awesome, and it just looks interesting.
