I've been trying to learn how to sew. I have dreams of being great but right now I am still on the basics (sewing square 1 to square 2) and this is what I've got so far... I saw a tutorial for these on Pinterest and loved them. Lucky for me basically everyone I know is pregnant. The first one was my test and the second one was for my boyfriends cousin (That's Ruby posing for scale) . I'm very proud of them and I'm holding on to the first one. I almost held on to the second one because I LOVED the print on the fabric but I do have enough to make a second one. Of course, I am not pregnant so I can hardly justify making a baby blanket for myself. The first is flannel and the second is fleece. I basically just hit up joanns odds and ends section and buy any flannel or fleece that I see and at this point I have alot! Thanks for looking!

These are very cute. What are the little ribbons for?

Keep up the sewing though. Baby blankets were some of the first things I tried sewing too.

This is looking pretty but I could not understand what exactly it is. So, if you can tell me what is this and what sort of baby item this is.
