Hawaiian rag quilt

I just finished my first quilt. I was inspired by the baby crib rag quilts. It's made of Hawaiian print fabrics and solid blue with a layer of flannel in between.

This would usually be a quilt that I'd call "busy", but in your case, I find the colors play together very well. It's really pretty.

The underside is made of squares from three fabrics only. My son is convinced I put it on the wrong way. He wants me to show the underside, where the hems are not visible. I like both sides.

That quilt is so cute! I like the little smidges of color in it from the prints.

I live on Oahu right now and I would absolutely die if I had flannel anything though! lol

The quilt comes off the bed when I go in it. Right now, the sheet may come off too, but in January, I will probably enjoy sleeping under it. It is mostly decorative.
