Hey all. For the last 6 months or more, it seems like all I have been doing is cute stuff and miniature foods. Don't get me wrong. I love my mini foods and my cute stuff! But every once in a while you have to bring balance into the world which has been over run by cuteness. And so I always resort to the weird and creepy, mostly zombies.

And now without further ado...

maybe just a little...

ok, a little bit more ado...

The Zombie Flask of Awesomeness!!!

It is a 5 oz flask. The drinking spout and hinge have been kept clean of materials for ease of drinking. The bottom is kept clean of clay so that it stands easily. The rest took about 3 hours of sculpting and detailing time. It includes scratches, general bruising, staples/stitches, blood and an eyeball on the cap. Cap unscrews rather easily.

I plan on doing a cthulhu/octopus one and another zombie one with a zombie hand around it soon.

Well that's it for now. I love some comments and critiques! Keep creating!

You did a great job on this! I love how the blood looks like its still wet. And the eye on top I think is my favorite detail about this flask Smiley

Thanks so much! The blood is a mixture of a clear glaze and red and green chalk dust. It remains glossy even after drying completely. I have been using that technique for a while with great success.

The eye on top is cool, but I think I love those gashes on the side best, they're awesome =)

Wow...I wish I had one of these for myself, even though I don't drink alcohol.  I love the ripped part with the blood and the eyeball on top is a nice touch.  Great job with this, such a creative and unique idea!   Smiley

Thank you. I had the idea of doing some sculpts on flasks for a while now. I don't drink either but thought it would be cool. I literally bought the two flasks that I did over a year before I actually started sculpting on them. You should have seen me in my craft room, digging through my supplies drawers, flinging stuff everywhere when I got the "need" to finally sculpt on them. lol
