I have lots of wine corks laying about so I decided to put them to use. My most recent idea that came out of a need seems to have worked out very well for me.
I took the side of the wine cork that the cork screw has been through, cut it in 1/4" (est) slice, then use the sliced piece to put candle wicking through in the bottom of my homemade candles, rather than purchasing metal stands. I took a wooden skewer and pushed the candle wicking through so that it was a tight fit and it turned out so well I thought I would share my idea with everyone ^^
