This year I have challenged myself to complete 12 different 30 day projects. July's was to embroider something each day.

Many of the pieces represent something that happened each day, other were stitched simply because I liked them.

One of my favorites is the scooter. We were at a red light when this Middle Eastern man in traditional clothing rode past us on a pink Vespa with a long white scarf billowing in the wind. I also love the G-man spy from the video game Psychonauts with his quote.

I think this is just brilliant. What a neat way to remember your month. I have to ask, did you do the Batman after the Aurora tragedy or before?

I love this, it is like a little embroidered journal, I think it would be cute if you made it in a calendar format and embroidered something in each square for that day, i think i must have seen that somewhere, i might have to try and do something similar..too cute:)

It was after the fact but I stitched it to mark the day we saw the movie, which we loved.

I really enjoyed this project and I would like to do it again. I think the calendar grid is an adorable idea! It reminds me of the "39 squares" projects I recently learned about. Like here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/67389006@N00/4504950085/
