I'm so glad you like it! Like I said in the note, I just had to do that once I got the idea!  Wonderful that it arrived safely! I was a little worried.

I'll post another pic of the hoop tomorrow, but it's done on a mirror organza. I used a water soluble stabilizer while stitching & just washed it away! Not sure if I will ever work with organza for embroidery again. Ever. lol The weave is so wide that it pulls much more than I would have liked. But oh well, it was a venture definitely worth trying! I glued the fabric to the inner frame so I could keep the back clear.

Ready to Pin? I got the BEST bday present from Endymion! I'm sorry I didn't get pics up sooner, my house is torn apart due to a remodel and I am super scattered these days because of it!

She claimed me for something book related (I have a BA in English Lit and Writing) and I got this amazingness!



It's a clock and each number is made from a book title with a number on it! Ack! So awesome, I am seriously in love. And, my mom admired it quite a bit, and she's usually not to impressed with anything crafty! She got some of my fave colors in there. Look at Cinderella for 12, how clever!

Also, she had started working on a few things and then decided they might not be up my alley, but she sent them along anyways! The beginnings of a cool Encyclopedia purse and an old book I haven't read, yay!



Also a cool bracelet made out of a book! I think this will be loose enough on me that I can wear it, but imagine one of my nephews might steal it! Too clever, thank you!

Wow, that hoop clock is amazing, as is the feather hoop. You guys are so talented. Working right now on Endymion's gift, send deadline is tomorrow, so it will be Monday. I hate sending late. Even one day.

I'm glad the clock survived its journey! The hands seemed really fragile. I let it run a day or so before I sent it and it kept good time.
