I've been trying to put together a burlesque costume, and one of the things I wanted was a leather crop. Well let me tell you, all the good ones are about 50 plus dollars both online and in the store. The lowest I found was nine dollars, but it was really ugly and very pink. So as I was walking around Michael's today and I found a piece of leather. That's when the idea popped into my mind. The leather was only $2.99, but I needed a bendable pole. I couldn't find anything, but one of those plastic swords at $4.99 a pop. So, I did what any crafty girl would do I went to the dollar store and low and behold! I saw a cheap one dollar fly swatter! After an hour and a half, here is what it looks like!

Very good.  It looks exactly like a riding crop but since you aren't going to use it on a horse it would have been ridiculous to pay  $50 for it.
