flying curdle worm

This one seems to get a whole range of reactions and it made me curious to see what other polymer clay peoples might think. So far I've heard some say its ugly, weird, pretty, scary or messed up. some even think it looks like a vibrava pokemon or lamprey

I started making a similar one over a couple years ago but put it down when i didn't like the way the wings were coming out (i keep it in a box so no ones sees). It's can be hard sometimes to make something that can both be affordable to anyone interested in buying it, as well as intricate. This second go I decided to just make the idea in my head rather than worry about costs and this is what came out:









I was ready to list it online but my boyfriend wanted it instead. It was a bit of a relief in the end cause I became attached to it and it would have been hard to see it leave forever

Oh wow, lovely clay work!  The wings are so pretty!!  It is adorable and creepy all the the same time, which is totally awesome!

It is "ugly" in the way that i wouldn't want that flying at my face...and completely gorgeous in the way of clay work!!

I like it! I hope you make more strange creatures...they're my favorite to look at.
