I love knitting whether it is with needles or on a loom. These two hats were knit on a 9.5" circular loom with two strands of yarn held together. Hearts are crochet.

Those are really beautiful and tres chic! I'd personally would have used the magic loop method for the crochet hearts, though. They look odd with the holes in the middle.

The magic loop is another way of working crochet in the round, except when the crochet is done, the yarn tail can be pulled to close up the hole in the middle. You can see it demonstrated here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FHYVutk2iYY. Good luck!
