I claim klg_jlg for some holiday decor!
2/0/0
Hi everybody I am KirBee. Been a member of craftster along time but not participated much. This is the first time I've done a swap like this. It's already fun!
I am 28, live in CO, am married, have 4 kids. I love biology, physics, space, crows, outdoors, trees, the simpsons, futurama, and Doctor Who. Love netflix because now I can finally watch Doctor Who episodes in order! Now that my youngest is 3 I've been trying to devote a little more time to crafty stuff. This means I have a lot of things I want to try but am a master at none.
The list...
Knitting/crocheting-
Amigurmi animals/dragons/dinosaurs whatever for any of my kids (boy 10, boy 6, girl 5, boy 3)
Cloud_berry is making one!
Cowl in solid mustard, olive green, or cream color. Thanks for the word Trouble T!
Fabrics-
felt food for daughter
throw pillow in dusty aqua, cream color
PJ pants for: hubby (he likes dark colors, Denver broncos, and hunting) waist 44, inseam 34
T-shirt anything to do with the interests above Size M/L ( I wear and 8/10 in clothes) I really like one with this deep space look <http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=373706.0>
t-shirt or leather bracelet
stuffies for any of the my kids or nephews: mario brothers, monsters, dinos, dragons, pokemon, hello kitty, Dora, scooby-doo, bigfoot, animals
Para-chord braided lanyard or bracelet for hunter hubby (one that can actually be used in an emergency)
painting or photography anything with trees
Jewelry: bracelets, pendants, necklaces (any themes and colors are fine, necklaces not too chunky though), I like the wooden bead saints bracelets
advent calendar, advent wreath with candles that the kids can put a fake flame on (felt or something), angel for tree
pinterest inspired <http://www.pintrest.com/atticlight>

Hello everyone! I am T, a mother of 2 great kids and the wife of an awesome husband. I live near Atlanta, GA. I'm a high school teacher of 21 years who still loves her job. My entire family LOVES Christmas and we all enjoy handmade gifts so I just know that what you create will be wonderful!
I have a
holiday gifts board
on my Pinterest. Go check it out if you don't see something here.
BIG WISHES are in
RED!
General décor and paper items
~Holiday greeting cards – Non religious please! Preferably humorous - I really like this
one
but I'm open to other cute designs.
I have a set from kaz, but more would be helpful. Same design or different, doesn't matter
~Handmade ornaments - We love silly, quirky ornaments.
~crocheted snowflakes for our tree
~Holiday coasters - preferably sewn, knitted, or crocheted (ceramic + kids AND pets = not good scenario), traditional holiday colors, or snowflake patterned fabric would be fabulous! Our hot cocoa mugs are on the large size so at least 4" square/round please.
~
Cocoa on a stick
for when we watch Rudolph yet again!
Husband
- Computer programmer by day, Awesome Husband by night! He's into Fieros, grilling and electronics.
~Heavy duty hot pads - He cooks with cast iron a LOT so it needs to be durable.
~home made dry rubs or herbal marinades for meats (please include a basic ingredients list, no need to give away the actual recipe if it’s a family secret!)
~dried chile peppers if you raise them! We love spicy foods!
~UTexas Longhorns wall art - framed embroidery (not a hoop!) or painted
~A manly apron with the saying "Everything is bigger in Texas." This could be painted, stenciled, machine embroidered, appliqued in manly colors...
Son
- 11 yrs old, very creative, loves to draw, heavy reader
, loves Lego video games. No Allergies
~sweater mittens in either a medium blue or red (I can send you a tracing of his hand for this!)
~ a stenciled tee in a theme of Star Wars (Lego or Classic), Angry Birds or mythological creatures like a hydra (even cartoony would be great!)
~
fleece or flannel pajama pants
boy’s size 16 - He loves soft fabrics like fleece or flannel!
~a cool cover for his Kindle e-reader
~sewn house slippers in a men’s size 7.5
~boy's jewelry - He has a shark's tooth on a leather cord that he loves. Something basic but manly
Daughter
- 6 yrs old and soon to be DIVA!, loves all things pink/purple, sparkly and girly. No Allergies
~sweater mittens in either pink or purple (Hand tracing can be provided)
~any appropriately girlie small hoopla (6" or smaller) for her hoopla wall - She already has a bunny, Pooh bear, her name and a butterfly.
~a girly stenciled tee - You can go wrong if it is pink/purple, sparkly or girly!
~fleece or flannel pajama pants, girl’s size 7
~crocheted/sewn house slippers in a child’s size 13
~a girly zipper pouch for carrying her hair bows, etc. in her book bag
~a girl's messenger bag
~necklaces! She loves to dress up so a long length necklace would be fabulous.
Sorry, she doesn't have pierced ears yet.
~NEW! - a crocheted hat for the winter months - pink or purple
My Mom
- Sorry no likes, hobbies, or interesting facts for this one. No Allergies
~pieced pillow covers in brick red and cream - I will gladly stuff the pillows myself! I just am not that good at piece work yet.
~a set of hanging towels in creams and browns
~simple, elegant earrings (Fish Hook please, no posts!) - she loves greens, blues, silver and black, PLEASE only modestly dangly!
My Dad
– A proud veteran of the Korean war and very actively volunteers with the VA in helping vets get the medical care/funds that they deserve. No Allergies
~ a framed art piece (any medium as long as the design is clean, not cluttered) of a Purple Heart (He received 2 during his years of service.) OR an appropriate Veteran’s Day saying like REMEMBER with an American flag. Sayings can be found at
http://www.quotegarden.com/veterans-day.html
~a jar of preserves – He eats buttered toast with jelly or preserves every morning at breakfast. His favorites are apple butter, strawberry or peach preserves.
Misc. Gifts

Small gifts for our 3 martial arts instructors
(This an extra special holiday because I'm...hopefully...get
ting my black belt just before the Holidays!
)

- Maybe one of those sewn neck coolers that ties in front, reusable, rice filled heat packs for sore muscles
For ME!
~A repurposed apron like
this one!

- a set of
sewn trash bags
to hang over my front seats so that my kids won't trash my back seat. *sigh*

1/1/0
Hi, I’m Ash! I live in Ontario, Canada with my lovely OH. I just graduated with my MA and after working as a designer for many years recently got laid off. I figured getting a head start on presents while searching for a new job would keep me positive, plus I love crafting and planning for the holidays! This is a great swap concept and I can’t wait to start
Sidenote: I’ve got allergies to perfumes and smoke so anyone sending should be aware as these gifts will be in my house for a while before the holiday season.
Blue: Newly Added Wishes
My Other Half
(birthday also in Nov)– My lovely gentleman has been away from his family for a long time and his grandmother who helped raised him died a few months ago without being able to say goodbye. Any talk of Christmas makes him sad and feel lonely even though my family loves him and we will be celebrating with them. I’d love to be able to give him special presents inspired by him : ) Athletic, enjoys being outside, Adventure Time, cute little bunnies and outdoor creatures, cooking, computer games.
Allergies: We cohabitate and I’ve got allergies to perfumes, cats, and smoke (plus foods but shouldn’t be an issue).

Best Friend J
(birthday also in Nov) – A super classy miss with an infusion of punk (leopard, studs) that is willing to do anything for her friends and family but frequently overlooks being nice to herself. I would love to make this Christmas extra special for her because she has had a truly traumatic year and is still able to get out of bed in the morning with a smile.
