I claim lindyv321 for lighthouse light switch/ATCs to frame, along with the Muno from Yo Gabba Gabba.

1/0/0
Hello, I'm Betsy! I live in Indiana with my husband, 3 cats, and 5 reptilians (2 bearded dragons, 3 leopard geckos). Husband is a software programmer/consultant; I'm unemployed, but in school for mortuary sciences. I do ATCs, crochet (anything), journaling, painting, scrapbooking, hand sewing, cross stitch, embroidery...
My dad and sister are sensitive to some detergents/soaps if you wash your crafts (like fabric or yarn).

General holiday:
 - Handmade cards
 - Handmade gift tags (this and this are amazing)
This would also work as a card as well. Smiley

Husband:
 - TARDIS stocking (this, this, and this are very awesome.)
 - Flashdrive keychain
 - Car air fresheners (he's a fan of the "clean" or linen smells, lilacs, honeysuckles...)
 - Computer cleaning supplies
 - Etched shot glasses (Portal, Fall Out 3, Need for Speed, Magic the Gathering)
 - To-go cup
 - Magic the Gathering themed mug/thermos
Stocking stuffer things: travel sizes of Axe or Dove or Ibuprofin(weird, I know, but he has chronic tendonitis), pens, cat toys, Peach Rings, cat treats/toys/art, Nerf Gun darts...
The weird part is I'm looking for a Ken doll to complete a craft I'm working on for him... So that's an option.
If you don't like anything from the list above, here's some more information on him... He loves his PS3, fantasy novels, Doctor Who, Sherlock, certain anime, British comedy, Chuck Palahnuik, Plants VS Zombies, Tiny Farm (an Android app)... We actually started talking because of zombies. He's a huge cat lover, so even if you want to send him some cat toys.
I made a Pinterest board to inspire me, things I think he'd like. Here.

My Parents:
 - an ornament like this
 - Homemade dog or cat treats (They have five dogs and 3 cats.)
 - Stocking of any sort
 - Stocking stuffer things
My parents have always done stockings for my sister and I, our boyfriends or close friends, but we have never done stockings for them. I think it'd be cute, but I have no idea where to start...): travel size soaps/toothpastes, pens, "receipt" paper pad, mini notebooks, bookmarks, highlighters, whatever...
My parents like shows like Eureka, Doctor Who (at least my dad does...), Supernatural, Big Bang Theory... My sister just moved out, so I think something family oriented (like an ornament) would be nice. My dad is thinking about going back to school, my mom does substitute teaching and loves to read.
My Sister:
 - Handtowels, wash clothes, scrubbies, reusable Swiffer mop thing or this, reusable Swiffer duster thing, a reusable grocery bag
 - I want to get her a stocking since she just moved out (something like these) and maybe one for her fiance. (I don't know much about him, he's the outdoor-sy/auto-mechanic type, so maybe camouflage or something?)
She just moved into her first apartment, so these are things I think she'd enjoy... Or have more of a use for.

Cousin A:
 - owl ornament
She received a Kindle Fire and she is going to be in the hospital for a month for a heart transplant. I'd love to get her a case for it or something. (Owls or Harry Potter (like this?) would be awesome.)
Her bathroom is decorated in owls, but she's running out of room for figures. Maybe some small wall-art, hooplas, or something. (I've done a "Nice Hooters" cross-stitch with two owls on it and a Harry Potter inspired hoopla...)
Cousin B:
He loves cthulhu, H.P. Lovecraft, pen and paper RPGs. He and his wife just moved to Wisconsin, so something small with that theme. It doesn't matter if it's a bookmark, cup, ornament, or anything... (ornament idea)
My Cousins' Kids:
 - I'm thinking something simple, like handmade snowglobes. They all like dinosaurs. The girls (5 and 7) love Transformers and Batman/Robin movies (like the old ones), and Ghostbusters. The boys (4 and 6) like videogames, Mario Brothers, and reptiles. I need four of them, but they don't need to match so the same person is not required. Smiley

Everyone Else:
 - a small ornament, doesn't have to be the same theme or person. Smiley This, this, this, this, this, this, this, and my uncle would like something like this.
I have 4 sets (my mom's mom, my mom's (real) dad, my dad's side, and hubby's mom's mom) of grandparents. My dad's side and my mom's dad have had a rough time; if one of them isn't in the hospital or ER, the other is. I also two aunt/uncle sets, his parents, his sister, and his brother/brother's wife. I'd need nine ornaments. Smiley

Friend S:
 - Pocket Loki
She's a fan of Supernatural, Doctor Who, Sherlock, Magic the Gathering, RPGs, zombies, and alcohol.
Shot glasses, etched mugs, wall-art, or anything. Smiley
Friend D:
A little harder to plan for... He's been Afghanistan for a year now (second or third time over?), likes Magic the Gathering, PS3 videogames, and alcohol... I'm leaning towards etched shot glasses/mugs, Magic the Gathering packs, drunken gummies...

I claim smashu for some pattern weights and a fabric plant.

1/0/0

Hi!  I'm Kaz and I live with my two bunnies in a teensy tiny condo in Maryland, USA. I'm a teacher in a middle school, and I love it.  I love most any color (see my profile for the colors of my house), though I'm not really a fan of paisley, neons, baby pastels, or animal print.  I love polka dots, stripes, fun patterns, bright colors, and "comfy" things.  I love puns, good grammar, penguins, rabbits, doors and windows, autumn and reading. I have no allergies.  I'm single, an only child, and my dad passed away five years ago this coming November, so it's me and my mom - which is why my list for potential things for my mom is so long.  She's my best friend, really, and since I'm an adult now, I can spoil her as she deserves!

I'm trying to keep store-bought gifts to a minimum again this year, so thanks for helping me out!  I tell myself that it makes Christmas cost less ... and so long as I don't go near a Joann's, it probably does. Wink

For Mom
My mom is a fabulous woman, who is a preschool teacher and adores her dog.  (Seriously, the dog gets her own suitcase when we go on trips.)  She likes lighthouses and collects Santas.  Things to help her organize would be LOVE (mostly by me!) and she has a dream of opening her own baking business.  She is the best baker I know.  She loves the blue/yellow combination (think Vera Bradley-esque prints).  Her dog is named Prairie and is something like a Schipperke mix.  (She has no allergies, but she does dislike birds, so please nothing with birds.)

-lighthouse artwork/inchies/ATCs - I'm going to make a collage type thing and frame it for Christmas!
-earring/necklace set (she loves garnets and turquoise, not necessarily together, though!)
-a learn to make jewelry craft kit
-a dog bed for Prairie (she's a medium sized/30 pound dog - I can provide a pic if necessary)
-a leash or collar for Prairie
-mugrug
-notebook like THIS for mom (she actually pointed out that she liked it!)
-rice heat/cool pack
-knit/crocheted dishcloths for mom - she prefers ones that are square and are probably 6x6. (Thanks, Miss B!)
-swiffer sweeper and swiffer duster reusable crocheted/sewn covers (Thanks, craftaddiction!)
-notecards w/ envelopes
-pot holders in blue/yellow (the square kind or the hand-shaped kind)
-dog toy for Prairie - a soft, squishy kind
-trash bag for the car
-car organizer

For The Relatives

I'm looking for some things for my mom's relatives, too - mostly my grandparents, uncle and his wife.  My grandmother loves maroon and Manhattans (the drink), hates birds, the color green and water.  My grandfather has a gigantic sweet tooth and likes martinis.  My uncle and his wife are very awesome people, and I couldn't tell you what their favorite colors are.  Best go for a generic 'manly' print for my uncle and something fun and classic for my uncle's wife. They all love the Boston Red Sox, patriotic items, and no allergies for any of them.

-mug rugs for uncle (he likes firetrucks, dark green/manly colors, and America), uncle's wife (something bright, but classic?) or grandparents (red/white/blue, patriotic, New England, Red Sox)
-tile coasters - beach theme or patriotic  (Thanks, craftaddiction!)
-preserves of any kind
-cute gift card holders

For The Kids
I've also got several small children to make gifts for this year - a 4 year old niece (done!), a 5 year old boy, (done!) a 2.5 year old boy, a 2 year old boy (done!), an almost 2 year old girl, a 6 month old (done!), and a 4 month old girl.  They have no allergies of which I'm aware.

These are all just ideas!  If you have something you think they'd love, just let me know.  I'm very open to other ideas. Cheesy

-hooded towels (for a 4 year old girl who loves purple, ducks, and sheep and/or a 5 year old boy who is very much a little boy and loves firemen/policemen/cars) (Examples: example 1, example 2) (Thanks, TroubleT!)
-car "garage" for the 5 year old boy for his Matchbox cars (like this or this - no need to get so detailed with the paint or anything on the first one, though) (Thanks, TroubleT!)
-decorated t-shirts for two year old boy, or almost 2 year old girl
-decorated onesies in girl colors/prints for 4 month old
-something appropriate for a baby girl who will be about 6 months old at Christmas thank you, craftaddiction!
-I-spy bags for the 2 and a half year old boy or 2 year old girl (http://craftingandcreativity.blogspot.com/2010/07/i-spy-bag.html#)
-crayons in fun shapes for the older kids  thank you, craftaddiction!
-anything you think a 2 and a half year old boy or a 2 year old girl might like! (http://pinterest.com/kaz814/gifts-for-kids/)

For Co-Workers, Friends, Etc.
-mug rugs
-mug cozies
-_____ in a Mug (like this or this
-ornament coasters like these for my friend, L, who adores Christmas and all Christmas decorations
-gnome artwork/stuffy/ornaments/anything (child-friendly and safe, please!)
-gnome ornaments - http://blog.revoluzzza.com/2010/12/23/last-minute-weihnachtswichtelchen/ for my friend, L  Thank you, sweetyetevil!
-Little gifts for my coworkers (Christmas ornaments, maybe?  Religious is fine!)

For Me to Use for Others

-Christmas cards w/ envelopes
-Christmas tags
-reusable cloth gift bags
-Christmas ornaments of any kind!

For Me
-cover for my ironing board; it's a small tabletop one and the cream it came with shows the use of the 'cotton' setting ... anything pretty and cheerful would be loved!
-Pinterest surprise  (Thank you, sweetyetevil!)
-Christmas ornaments of some kind
-nativity
-hoopla (http://pinterest.com/kaz814/hoopla-wall/)
-hand-carved stamps
-apron - any kind. I'm plus-sized so something I can tie around me would be fun!
-Surprise snowball
-advent calendar for me to fill  (a bunch are on my pinterest - http://pinterest.com/kaz814/christmas/)
-dishcloths - 6x6 any color!  Thanks, Miss Barbara!

I claim cloud berry for zach's etched shot glass

1/0/0

Hi everybody I am KirBee. Been a member of craftster along time but not participated much. This is the first time I've done a swap like this. It's already fun!
I am 28, live in CO, am married, have 4 kids. I love biology, physics, and space crows, outdoors, trees and simpsons, futurama, and Doctor Who. Love netflix because now I can finally watch Doctor Who episodes in order! Now that my youngest is 3 I've been trying to devote a little more time to crafty stuff. This means I have a lot of things I want to try but am a master at none.

Knitting/crocheting-
Amigurmi animals/dragons/dinosaurs whatever for any of my kids (boy 10, boy 6, girl 5, boy 3)
Round collar-like scarf (don't know what they are called) solid mustard, olive green, or cream color

Fabrics-
felt food for daughter (5)
throw pillow in dusty aqua, cream color
PJ pants for: hubby (he likes dark colors, Denver broncos, and hunting) waist 44, inseam 34
T-shirt anything to do with the interests above Size M/L ( I wear and 8/10 in clothes) I really like one with this deep space look <http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=373706.0>
t-shirt or leather bracelet
stuffies for any of the my kids or nephews: mario brothers, monsters, dinos, dragons, pokemon, hello kitty, Dora,  scooby-doo, bigfoot, animals

Para-chord braided lanyard or bracelet for hunter hubby (one that can actually be used in an emergency)

painting or photography anything with trees

Jewelry: bracelets, pendants, necklaces (any themes and colors are fine, necklaces not too chunky though), like the wooden bead saints bracelets

advent calendar, advent wreath with candles that the kids can put a fake flame on (felt or something), angel for tree

pinterest inspired <http://www.pintrest.com/atticlight>
