Charming bag from 101 ways to sew a metre http://www.amazon.co.uk/101-Fabric-Fabric-Ways-Metre/dp/1446302199/ref=pd_sim_b_1. I had to glue gun the buttons because i couldn't get needle through the fabric... I used fabric i got years ago that was off cuts from a belt manufacturers. Too thick for my machine to deal with at times but saved the need for interfacing! On the downside I managed to snap a chopstick trying to turn the handles through to the right way. whoops!

The fabric is more of a dark plum satin than the photo shows. All in all whilst I like the end creation I think I'd only make it again using a much thinner fabric.

the fabric is lovely, shame it tried to kill your machine!

my machine was much happier making this version - it's satin with fusible interfacing to strengthen the inside. This time I included the magnetic clasp.
