Would there be anyone out there who knows the typical size of burp cloths?  I am going to make some for a baby shower and have no clue what size they are (I have dogs... I know all about dogs, not babies)

I make burp clothes for baby gifts all of the time.  They are fast and cheap!

I take 1/4 yard of terry cloth fabric and another 1/4 yard cute novelty fabric and place them together.  I fold them in half and cut them in  two.  I take a regular ole dinner plate, trace around the ends to  round off the ends.  I sew wrong sides together, leave an opening, turn right side out and stitch close!  All of the moms I have given them to, love them!

Hope this helps!
