A friend of mine posted a picture on her facebook of a plush Spocktopus last week, and asked me if I could make something like that.  While I probably could have made it, I don't have much experience in plush making.  So I sketched up a Spocktopus of my own, and then went shopping for some floss.  A few days later, my own Spocktopus was finally done.  I'm pretty proud of him, as he's the most detailed hoop I've ever done.  Shading his face was definitely an experience in patience.

I used mostly satin-stitch and a little back-stitch here and there.  And the "suckers" I did in a gold metallic floss, and used French knots for those to give it something different.  I realized gold metallic floss is kinda rough to work with.

C&C welcome and appreciated.  Smiley

holy captain Kirk! this is amazing.  I love that you built on the Spocktopus theme in a new way, and you did a fantastic job, the shading on the face with stitch is fabulous! Incredibly unique, hilarious and well done.
