So, I've been collecting playbills and souvenir programs from shows and I didn't want to just stash them somewhere and forget all about them. I decided to put them up as wall art because I hate how drab my room is.
Here's how it looks like:
I just wrapped them in plastic cover, leaving one side open so I can take them out and look through them whenever I want to. I used regular double-sided tape to stick them up, so this was a pretty cheap way to decorate my walls. So far, they haven't fallen and they've been up a couple of months now. I just add to them whenever we watch a new show.
Another thing I did is put up fake stickies on one of my cabinets (which is an icky grey) to add more color.
These are fake stickies because they're made with rainbow paper from my stash and thin double-sided tape. The square ones are quotes that I like. The smaller fake stickies were made the same way. This one is my mini bucket list and I put them in the other envelope when I'm done with an item. I have a stash of blank stickies (of both sizes) in the little purple envelope, so I just grab one, write on it when I find a quote I like or if I have a new item to add to my list and stick them on.
Just some little (cheap) ways I've been doing to brighten up my room.
