I recieved a card from Witchhippie today 



Cool wood grain and bright colors, and I just wanted to post another pic to show how shiny the card really is.

There was a mix up with my Harry Potter theme, but Witchhippie says she's going to send me another! Thanks Witchhippie, that's really nice.

A question for jmiller614: If I may ask, how did you get that grimy black look on the edge of the Unforgivable Curses card? It's so cool!

I had three awesome cards waiting for me when i got home today. The first from jmiller613 for my twisted/scary circus theme. She said it looked like she needed more color but I love the look of this card. Check out the figure hanging from the trapeze wire!


number two from crazyda79 for my twisted/scary circus theme. Who would have thought of a human candelabra! Love the background paper and check out the candles on her arms.


number three from spikefan for my steampunk theme. love hot air balloons and notice the wheel in the basket.

Awe! Suddenly I am So jealous! Love the Jawa's and that is a great jawa card. My dog as a teen was named Jawa. Everyone would call her Jabba and I would get so pissed. LOL! You did a great job spikefan!

  Blown away by the card I just got from jmiller614!



While the "cover" of my "Q" for Quidditch ATC is deceivingly simple with playful doodles of a quidditch match touched with some light blue watercolor, the inside is filled with beautifully painted details replicating the interior of a quidditch equipment chest! It's so well done and I really like how there's even a special hatch to hold that tiny golden snitch. Love it. I can't say enough.

Wow, what a wonderful gallery! So many awesome cards, but I think my faves so far are Professor Trelawney by M&C and the zombie cupcake by gozer! So cool!

I am glad you found its secret! I think the engineer in me would rather build things as I don't consider myself a great artist. I would build a lot of 3d ATCs if it didn't severly limit display options.

It's just black paint sponged on the edges. Another craftster taught me that!



And we have quite the talent in this swap. Some people are fantastic are drawing faces or animals and using tons of techniques. I am going to have to copy the wood grain. And I already need to go find the crackle stuff used on one of my cards. Although the Christmas List I have been making includes metallic watercolors someone used on ATCs in a part swap. I love the 40% one item coupons at Michaels...

Wow, what great cards! (swap anxiety alert) I'm glad I didn't look in here before I finished mine, I hope they're good enough.
