I have a new lunchbox set for my 6 year old that comes with a plain soft-side cooler. He really wants to decorate it in a Star Wars theme. However, I have no idea how to accomplish this on the vinyl-like material. I tried plain old stickers; these wouldn't even stick. I don't want to use any iron-ons or hot glue; that could melt the material. I was thinking I could find some fabric & glue it on, but I don't think regular fabric glue would hold. I am not too artistically gifted, so painting something other than stick figures is out!
Any ideas are welcome!

Maybe you could try using Gorilla glue on the stickers, and then after the glue is dry, paint the sticker with shellac or mod podge to protect the image.

You could also try and find Star Wars fabric and sew a cover for the bag -- if there is a zipper, you could sew into the fabric of the zipper to attach the cover.

Good luck!
