the young David is amazing.  I love that you did a lot of original art in it and that you used the tin in yet another completely different way.  Fabulous and creative.

Ok everyone, hold on to your hats! I received last night from the incredibly talented Sewphie, and I am absolutely in love with her work! If you didn't know, Sewphie seems to specialize in mind-blowing embroidery work, and after stalking her thoroughly for this swap, I was dreaming that she would include some of that talent in her tin -- and she totally did!! And I am swooning!

She chose my theme of the Evil Queen from Snow White, a character that I have always found fascinating. Now, is this regal or what? And yes, that entire crown is embroidered and beaded.

A look at the back:

And where is our little Evil Queen? Hiding in the forest of course, choosing just the right apple to give away... (insert evil laugh.) Oh, and btw, that tiny little apple is stumpwork embroidery.

And as if that wasn't enough, Sewphie sent along some extras -- look at that girl smoking the cigarrette! Ha!

I took these photos last night, so I apologize if they aren't quite as clear as they could be -- I really wanted to get photos posted since it has taken our tins so long to travel to their homes! Sewphie, thank you sweetheart for swapping with me. Your work is just beautiful! I hope your tin gets there this week -- I am getting impatient and nervous to see if you like it!

Ooh, nice! I love the embroidery work and the creepy little girl peeking out of the forest.
It's always a thrill to see what other folks can imagine and implement in a little altoid tin!

Wonderful art work on the Bowie tin! Love the tiny book art!

The stumpwork apple and the beaded embroidery is fabulous...plus the witch inside is very creepy and wicked!

This gallery should be called 100 ways to alter a tin!
