Sadly, the memory card on my camera bit the dust and I lost all my in-progress shots.  Angry

However, the mockup-zilla (aka flipper-zilla) I used to get an idea of size and placement is still sitting on my bench and I just took a snapshot for fun (and to play with the new photo upload feature)...

*stares at snapshot*

I think I just discovered where all my wicked went.  Shocked

To all past swap partners....If something I made you fell apart in some way, it would be helpful to me if you PMed me and told me about it.  Sometimes, I try new things, and if they fail, it helps me to know

I adore the baby godzilla tin, I would never have thought to orient the tin that way and make a room, somehow my favourite feature is the wall treatment! it just sets the whole thing up.  All the little touches are brilliant and so sweet, Godzilla may be wicked but you are not.

Then again, the white evil blob thing, all I can say is ... Noooooooo!

This gallery has been the most fun to watch.  I can't even explain how amazing every tin is.  Blown away.

Wonderful! ... but I have to admit, I did play with the idea of making something fetus-like at first, I just completely lacked the capabilities Grin
But I love flipper- zilla, Jivvy, how wonderfully creepy!
And jellybean-vader is a perfect idea!

Maybe we could go even smaller and make altered pillboxes next(says the one with no visible minature-talent Wink)?

Or what about grandpa-zilla for next round? Wink

Godzilla may be wicked but you are not.

Obviously, my reputation has suffered greatly in this swap. Cheesy

ok pic heavy awesomeness about to arrive!

today I received this adorable bright package all the way from Germany and it totally made my rainy day!

Inside I discovered, well, so many things!  I agreed to a ltitle extra but BirdBones totally spoiled me, and I would object except it's all so great I can't Smiley

Ok, down to business.  The Wicked Tin.  I give you the absolutely gorgeous Medusa tin, love the pedestal, and the head/face is so beautiful, it's wood, where did you get this?  I love the sort of art deco style.  And you did a fabulous job with the snakes around the pedestal and as the hair, and the pearls, the whole style is really stunning.

Here's a closeup of the face because I'm just in love with it.

Then on the back side you can see the tin, decorated so elegantly and creepy, love the butterfly theme, the eyeball! and the colours.

So inside the tin .... a great vintage little girl medusa with golden snake hair!  I adore her.  And skulls, and two cats (and by coincidence I have two cats) .  Now this little Medusa is full of romantic dreams, the object of her dreams is none other than Poseidon. hehehe, very funny BirdBones.

Oh and she made a little card, from Little Medusa " today I met the man I am going to marry and I don't care if he is much older than me.  When I grow up I will be the wife of Poseidon.  He is so dreamy, his wavy hair and his deep ocean eyes."  Smiley

Ok, I love the Medusa tin.  But wait there's more!

A little extra frame with a little Borg Queen (yes she was on both our lists, lol, great minds think alike!)
My favourite part of this are the green rocks because they are so so cool.

The card here is hilarious: "Stardate 123.452112  First day with the borg, can hear every drones voice, parents close by, will seek to become leader of the collective, then they have to give me ice cream whenever I want, stay up as long as I like, show them all."  Brilliant BirdBones!!

She wrapped all these wondrous goodies in a beautiful two tone grey knit scarf which is so me, I love it, and a pouch purse, beautifully done, wow are you muti skilled!  And some squishy eyebal candies to top it all off, wicked Smiley

Thank you so much to my amazing partner BirdBones, it has been a blast! you rock.

I was in love with this piece before I knew there was anything in the tin... the pedestal (and yes, I know how inadequate "pedestal" is in this case) is just so flippin' jaw-dropping lovely and yes, a definite harking back to Asian-influenced art deco that makes me want it even more.

The boyfriend/girlfriend bits are wonderfully clever and the wee medusa quite cute... but I keep going back to the full exterior pic...

I think I'm actually drooling a bit.
