Agreed!  You totally had me fooled with your polymer bedding!  Looks absolutely soft and satiny!  Did you and Knicker get together and decide to do beds???  I've never seen anyone turn their tin into a bed and now there are TWO spectacular, wicked beds!!  Wonderful!!

With all the lovely work in that bed, is it wrong that it's the back of the headboard that I like the most?  Cheesy

And I was totally snookered on the bedding.  Cheesy

I really think we might need a "Wicked Bed Altered Tin" swap.  Shocked

I try not to think about that too much Grin

HHhmmmm...note to self, add tentacles to my new head board...while the Hub is away Grin  Super super wicked cool bed for sure Grin

Thank you for all of the lovely comments about my tin everyone! The castle took me FOR-E-VER. (Imagine that kid in the sandlot saying forever over and over, please.)

I haven't gotten my tin yet. Actually a got in the mail last monday, however, I work 10 hour days and can't go to the post office during the week normally. Stupid me thought the post office that the package was at would be open since the other post office in town is. Now THAT confused and upset me.

I'm off to make a cheesecake, that way I will have something to bribe my mother-in-law with when I ask her to pick it up for me on monday.... Sad

I'm looking for wrist watches or old clocks. Broken or working, doesn't matter! I will swap anything you would like.

Wow! little Edward Gorey is just amazing.  You captured the style so perfectly, and made it your own with so many creative touches.

Who knew we could see these little tins in so many ways?

I must say it again, this could be the coolest swap ever.

I'm just surprised that your bed doesn't already feature tentacles on the headboard, Susi!

But seriously, this Gallery just gets better and better. Each tin I think "Okay, that's the best of all." And then the next one appears and it's even more amazing. I mean really: gloomy little Edward (although a fur coat would've been the ultimate, the trademark Knickertwist teensy pencil was enough), Baby Vlad's moustache, neurotic little Malificent and Nemo's polymer bedding... Does it get any better than this? I have a feeling it will.

Well, Wulf we just got the head board a few weeks ago, and I was going to go for a eyeball motif.  Then the Hub (who found it and bought it) requested me "to not mess with it" rather nicely.  But I figure I can make a few stuffed tentacles to at least hang over the edges Grin
