I always lose my tent when I'm camping and I am coming home from the community campfire or the porta-potty. These little helpers guide me home.

Just back from our camping trip. These worked wonderfully. Easy to find in the dark and we received lots of great comments from neighbors. They used them to find their tents as well.

I will cut them shorter next year. Easier to see when keeping your flashlight low so you do not flash your neighbors in the eye or light up their tent. They do work better if closer to the ground.

Other ideas. Line your path with the solar powered pathway lamps sold about anywhere these days. I don't like them near my tent. I like complete darkness or moonlit nights, no human made light pollution. But I did appreciate other campers lights for navigating.
