Aquarium Bead Magnets

These are kind of a paper craft and a glass craft.  I use clear aquarium beads, and print out little pictures off the computer for them with photo paper, and then glue a really strong (neodymium) magnet on the backs of them.  The magnets are so strong that I have to use epoxy to hold them together or the picture rips right off when you take it off of the fridge.  Glad I figured that one out before shipping any.












I just got new brushes for photoshop last night and designed some new ones for beads that are a little bigger than a quarter. I'll have to post pictures of those too once I have them finished. The glue is drying right now

Those are lovely and so impressive.  I love the designs you chose and the way the glass magnifies the pictures. They'd look so good on a fridge or any surface.

I just got a bunch of new brushes for Photoshop the other day and created these designs:















































I have most of those designs all glued to beads now, but I'm still trying to find the right size m
agnets for the back.  I could just use small ones, they're plenty strong enough, but I'm afraid people will think they look funny with a magnet that's less than 1/4 of the size of the bead : \

I just ordered these though, and have a really great idea for them that I think people are really going to like : )
