I'd like to do a tattoo themed swap, but have never organized a swap before and I'm not really sure where to start. I've looked about and couldn't find a "so you want to organize a swap!" post

I've asked around a bit and I think a tattoo swap would be pretty popular seeing as there are so many craftsters with bodymods and ink, not to mention those that just love the art form, but am I being too ambitious to do this? am I even allowed to?

Could be fun but what would you craft for it? You cant send tattoos(how awsome would that me?) but maybe some flash sheets or embroidery based on tattoos or even based on your partners tattoos.

I think it is a good idea, how about using tattoo styles (or partners own ink) as a jumping point for all sorts of crafts, stencilling, wall art, notecards, hand carved stamps etc.

Oh man!!!  Using our partners ink as the creative spring board is an awesome idea.  Wow, there are so many things you could do tieing the craft to the tattoo, or the meaning behind the tattoo.  Or a specific style of tattoo art would be a fun inspiration too.  I love ink, and I love my ink, and I love everyone else's ink Smiley  This would be something that could be very fun.  Or even something based on a tattoo you have always wanted to get but for reasons have not, you could receive something crafty inspired by that tattoo idea instead.  You got me all excited about this, trisarose!

I think this would be a super fun swap and I'd love to get in on it if it takes off. Smiley
