Have you ever created something that made your whole heart sing?
That's what happened to me when I created this doll.
To be honest, I've dreamed of making a doll like this ever since I taught myself to sew in 2009.

I am so excited to introduce you guys to Bliss!

She came out way larger than I had originally planned...24" tall!
(Probably going to shrink my pattern down a bit for the next one, especially since I hand sew LOL.)

She's jointed at the shoulders, elbows, hips, and knees.

She and I had a lot of fun taking these photos outside today.  Grin

I can hardly wait to get started on the next one!
(Yes, I already have a list of future ones I'm wanting to create, haha.)

Hope you guys like her!

I absolutely LOVE her!!!  She's adorable!  Everything about her...her face is so sweet!   Do you sew all your dolls by hand?

This and That... my main blog. Drop by and say "Hello!"

Thank you both so much!

Yes, I sew everything by hand. I have a sewing machine, but I'm ashamed to admit that I'm intimidated by it. One of these days I'll actually get someone that knows what they're doing to sit down and show me how to use it...maybe it'll be less scary then, haha.
I do enjoy hand sewing though...I find it relaxing.  Smiley

Lovely hair and a dear little face.  I love the way you have posed her outside.  She looks like  some kind of wood elf or maybe just a visitor from another planet who happened to drop by for tea.

I love her, she's a darling! I really love her face!!! Cheesy And WOW you did her all by hand, I have done that, but it takes a long time, I do like to hand sew & I do a lot of it & it's very relaxing like you said!! The joints & fingers are amazing. Do you have wire in the fingers? Awesome!!!

Looking forward to see more!!

Will do personal swaps!! I make Art Dolls/Junker Jane Dolls/Raggedy Ann & Andy Dolls/also TM Patches
