Hello,

A few weeks ago I cut off the good parts of two of my girlfriends black ripstop-fabric security-pants. Also the buttons and those clasps (? - like, you know those things for changing the length of backpack-straps? What is it in english?).

So, what can I do with only the legs of pants? Since it's a more thick, heavy and not elastic fabric, but with lots of seams on it, I'm out of ideas.

Ripstop nylon is water resistant, so why not turn them into little sacs for camping or hiking doodads?

Depending on how big the legs are, they could even be big enough to hold a mess kit! (that's a plate, bowl, KFS, and cup).

Attach the two legs to each other but still sewn separately, put a tarp in one half, rope and pegs in the other, with a strap and clip forming a carry strap (instant shelter in a bag!).

Make a leg-sac to put in your car, containing an emergency kit (glowsticks, tallow candle, matches, first aid kit).

I can't think of anything else survival-y right now, but I hope I gave you some ideas Cheesy
