Hiya people.I was very busy from past month and could not get any time for making amigurumis Sad  But the pull of making amis was so strong that i could not resist and in spite of my tight schedule i managed to crochet this cute brown ami-dog.I was wondering what to name him.My brother solved this problem by naming him "Bruno".Why he choose this name i have no idea Wink Since i like the name,we kept it.Bruno is 7 inches tall and 5.2 inches long (excluding tail).I have used Vardhman Millenium yarn which is a little less thicker than 4-ply and has a self-sheen to it.I totally love how fuzzy this yarn became after some brushing =) Totally perfect for amigurumis.

So,let's see how Bruno looks - please do comment.I love to hear from you. Smiley

This is crochet?  Wow, it's amazing - I would have guessed it was some kind of fabric.  I love it!

Ya,its crochet/amigurumi.i just brushed the toy after making all the parts to get the fur/fuzzy effect Wink In real life, this toy looks more like a stuffed/plush toy than amigurumi.

I never thought of using fluffy yarn for amigurumi but it is perfect for puppies and kittens and you have made a very good pattern for your little dog.  He is lovely.

@elderflower- do use the fuzzy/eyelash yarn for amigurumi and you will be very happy with the cute result. But I have used normal yarn for bruno and brushed it with a pet hair slicker brush.

Thank you Luckygirl360. I totally misunderstood.  Fluffy yarn would be harder to crochet and I don't think it would give a better effect than what you did.  I shall definitely have to try brushing normal yarn after I have made something.  Your little Bruno is so adorable.

I don't care for amigurumi but your techniques rocks. I like the effect. If I could find my cat brush I would do this to some of my projects.

Doesn't look like it was crocheted at all! It's adorable; I want to snuggle with it Smiley
