So this is the first big project I have ever made.  Well, perhaps the Gossamer girls count as big.  They are certainly extremely complex.  I have tried to make things this size before, but I always lost interest. For some reason, I could not put this shawl down at all.  All I wanted to do was work on it.

The only problem is, I don't really wear colours.  I'm more of an all black all the time kind of person.  So I will hang onto this until the winter holidays and use it as a gift.

Since I finished this, I started another shawl inspired by the beast of Gevaudan, which I am more likely to wear.  I want to make more shawls with images rendered in them.  It is surprisingly fun.

Lovely.  It looks nice and warm, and blue goes nicely with black.  Mind you when it is really cold I don't care what colour it is.  Tongue I am writing this wearing an old baby cot blanket in multiple pastel colours - because it's a frosty morning.  Embarrassed

Thank you!  I do like pretty things.  Where I am, it will be far too hot for a shawl for several months yet.  I envy you your chill, actually.  I do want to wear some of the things I've been making!
