Beautiful work. I wouldn't have even thought there was a mistake if you hadn't mentioned it.

Mine wasn't a kit - just components I had in my stash.

The neat thing about the watch face one is that I purposefully overglued and let it mush out, and then only let the skin develop, and not fully dry, before pouring the resin.  I was wondering if it would do what I wanted, which was to leave that cloudy white bit.  I wanted it to look a bit like a cloud.  That is one of my favourites and I am keeping that one for myself Cheesy

Really beautiful!
I've also been scared to take the plunge when it comes to resin.

Don't be - once you try it, you will realise it is super easy to do, especially with a good quality resin.  Envirotex just came out with a Jewelry grade resin, and Michaels has one under their Bead Landing line - I have not tried those yet.  I have tried UV cure resin (pricey, but good to use for quick projects), as well as Casting Craft and Envirotex, and they all have their places.  But this brand that I used this time, ICE resin, is so far waaaaaay ahead in terms of quality and giving a lovely clear finish with minimal bubbles.
