Resin collage pendants

I have been in a pendant making frenzy since I started the pendant swap over a month ago and still am going. 

These are paper collages laid in metal bezels that I embedded in resin.  I made a couple of batches of these, one for the swap and another because I thought I may need to send a replacement package - and also the fact that I just enjoyed making them.

I used ICE resin.  I had tried several other brands in the past, and this has been one of the best ones I have used so far.  It dries very nice and clear, with minimal bubbles.

This one had a boo boo - the glazing on the paper was obviously not completely covering the paper either above or below, and the resin seeped at some point, but I still like how it looks

They are made with a variety of scrapbook paper, japanese washi papers, vintage sheet music, transferred images printed on tissue paper, metal charms/bits and bobs, glazes, mica powders, and ink.

There is a kit???  That is great - you have to do it - it is incredibly satisfying to make these for some reason.

Just remember - DO NOT TOUCH THEM while they are curing - you could ruin them if you poke at them!!!!!!!  Unless you happen to like smudgy fingerprints as a decorative element

These are stunning! Thanks for sharing about the ICE resin. I have had such a hard time using the Casting Craft--I can never get the measurements right! I noticed that ICE sells a 1 ounce syringe that you can squeeze, mix, and use and that sounds fantastic to me. Perfect for making gorgeous little pendants like yours. Really nice job!
