Willing to personal swap for art of my doggies!

This has been on my mind to make for a few years, and as a way to keep my hands busy last week while my dog was sick, I started punching out and curling the flowers.  It is hard to see, but they are also lightly misted with mica powder colouring, and each pinned with pearl headed pins, or beads and pins onto a curved foam pool noodle wrapped with tissue paper.

I call it the forget-me-not wreath not just because they are tiny blue flowers that make me think of forget me nots, but because my sick dog passed away on Monday.  I tucked a little heart in the flowers in memory of him, and I will change that over to a little picture of Toby (he is my avatar too) when I find one I like.

Here is a little bit more about it on my blog

Thank you - I like how the blue stands out on the black of our door.  I think I am going to take a copy of my avatar picture - Toby's first Christmas way back in 1999, and have that put into a heart frame.

so sorry about Toby but what a lovely wreath. It must have taken ages cutting and curling so many flowers but I know it is nice to have your  hands busy when your mind can't rest.

That is exactly it - my mind was fretting, so it was soothing to have my hands busy with what became a mindless task.  Thank you everyone.
