I kissed a seal and I liked it.

This is the next afghan for the eldest of a friends three girls. The granny ripple was for the youngest and the middle daughter is getting a granny swirl.

She chose the colors from my stash and after I used up the first 3 skeins I realized one color was discontinued. DOH!
Thankfully a kind soul sent me one after I posted on another crochet forum.
This is a modification of the Red Heart pattern called Daydreamer Diagonal Blanket #LW2580

Stats: 6888 double crochets, 6888 single crochets, 2296 slip stitches, and 3 colors.

Those are beautiful colors, and I love the diagonal stripes. Smiley

Beautiful.  Looking forward to seeing the last one.  I am so impressed at the way you just get on and do them.  I have at least one half finished afghan languishing from laziness or else it just gets pushed out by life and other things.

I love it. For some reason, it is very calming. Perfect for a blanket.

I love nonsense - it wakes up the brain cells!

I really like it, it looks kind of like waves.

Sometimes you get to change the world, and other times the world changes you.

Currently drowning in the sea called PhD.

Interested in swapping for I-Spy Quilt Squares and Scraps.

Reminds me of the ocean or the beach...super pretty colors.  I love the pattern you chose also.
