the color pencil drawing is roughly the size of an atc, i attatched it to a standard sized card blank for my grandmothers birthday. i shaded the back ground in a gently ombre fading from grass to sky, leaving the butterfly blank. i added the words in ink and outlined the butterfly, and i liked it that way, but decided to color it in to add more color and add flowers...next time i might leave it along...i curved the writing on the card and the envelope to suggest a meandering flight path.

Homemade cards are the best! I'll bet your grandmother loved it. Smiley
