I made this encased heart out of polymer clay for my friend kristen. All pieces are made out of polymer clay. The stand is separate.

By the way, I'm giving this heart away tomorrow...Friday July 27th, 2012. Today is the last day to participate. You can read kristens story on my blog if you'd like. http://tejaesart.com/tejaes-heart-for-kristen/

Wonderful container vessel!!  And love all the Rococo-type onlays.

Did you use a temp. heart form (found or scrunched-foil, etc), or a permanent armature under the clay?

Thank you Rackycoo. I've been making them for a while and teach a class on it.

hi Diane, i love glassattic, even though I've been claying for years I still hop in there from time to time. It's an awesome resource.

To answer your question, it's all hand made from polymer clay. I use the inner heart to make the outer shell. Smiley
