Hi Jarrisk -- that was from me! I'm so sorry I didn't get my Craftster name on there before I mailed it. (It occurred to me as I was leaving the post office that I hadn't. Ugh!) Anyway, I'm so glad that you like it and that it arrived safely! Grin

alwaysinmyroom, I used lots of stuff! The base is chipboard with wooden stars, button stars and metal swirly paperclips glued onto that.  Then the shiny part is craft aluminum that I adhered over everything, and then made sure to flatten everything out around the edges, etc. Then I used alcohol inks over it. It's very fun to do!

i love the piece that you received, Jarrisk! it's like a zoomed in remix of starry night

i received from Melanie aka UntouchableFace just moments ago and it is a beautiful piece!

it looks great facing any direction but this is going by how she signed the piece. depending on how the light touches it, it also looks like this:

it has a lot of great texture--it's a piece of art that you can totally feel and i love it!
thank you so so much!

I am glad you like it susanb!

For the background I glued foil from candy wrappers and some packing paper to cardboard, painted it with alcohol inks and mixatives and then stamped it with Staz-on ink. The flourish on the top is modeling paste pushed through a stencil.
