I created this gem for my 10 year old little brother who loves things that are crazy and out there. You should have seen the sales lady's face when I walked up to the cutting counter with these fabrics and she asked what I was making. She may have actually cringed. And not going to lie, I was a little scared of this while sewing it together but I actually really love the end result. The pattern called for light and calm fabrics to counter act the dark, obviously though, every piece needed something crazy going on. It is full sized and I used black binding with all different color thread. Hope you enjoy:

That worked well. I can see you had to put a lot of thought into it though.  Probably just about right for a 10 year old. Sometimes you have to push the envelope or you won't get out of the sorting office.

I actually think it turned out good. Smiley Boys are challenging to quilt for so bonus points for that.

Fantastic, I'm old enough to be a grandmother and I love it. Bright colors with skulls and anything black and white are the best.
