Brand: Pfaff

Model:138-6

Year: I believe the 60's

Cost: second hand machine. Got it cheap cause it didn't sell on the web.

How long have you had the machine? About 3 months

Is it a basic sewing machine, serger, or embroidery machine? Industrial machine. Straight stitch and zig-zag.

What are your favorite features? That it's a good industrial. Speed. Has it's own table and that it can sew effortlessly through numeral layers of fabric.

How well does it run? Like "butter" sews like a dream. Anyone not used to an industrial may not get used to the noise from the motor easily.

Has it ever broken or needed maintenance you couldn't do yourself? No yet but I had a technician check it out and oil it.

What are your least favorite features? Don't have any as yet. I knew what I was getting and am thrilled with it.

Would you recommend this machine to a friend? Absolutely but they are pretty hard to find and it's now a machine for everyone. Most can make do with a regular home sewing machine.

I wanted to thank those that gave advice and support that led me to choose this machine. The information here is invaluable.
It's an old machine but have already fallen in love with it. I preferred an industrial also because that is what I am used to (the speed also was a factor).
Great strong machine.
