I FINALLY MADE HIM!!!! I'm so incredibly happy that "Bowser" is checked off my list Grin! I stumbled on this amazing pattern (http://nanettecrochet.blogspot.com/2011/08/super-mario-bowser.html) a little less than a year ago, but there was always something that made me too busy to make him. Anyways summer came and after six days of crocheting, sewing, and many "small" breaks, Bowser was finally finished Cheesy: (Oh and sorry about the many pictures....I just couldn't stop taking them Cheesy)

I did make some small modifications:
-On the arms I crocheted only until round 19 and then crocheted through both layers.
-I didn't crochet the spikes. Instead I made them out of felt and hot glued them on.
-I did crochet a collar though:
Rnd 1. Sc 6 in magic ring (6)
Rnd 2. Inc around (12)
Rnd 3. *Sc in next sc, Inc* around (18)
Rnd 4. *Sc in next 2 sc, Inc* around (24)
Rnds 5-6. Sc around
Rnd 7. *Sc in next 2 sc, Dec* around (18)
Rnd 8. *Sc in next sc, Dec* around (12)
Rnd 9. Dec around (6) Don't Stuff F/O

I'm SUPER incredibly happy on how this turned out and so is Bowser. Look he's going to say something:

..............Which translates to "Bye!"

Wow that's really impressive! Bowser used to scare me when I was little and played mario parties - but this one looks super cuddly XD

We abuse land because we regard it as a commodity belonging to us. When we see land as a community to which we belong, we may begin to use it with love and respect.
