Hi group!
I've been wanting to get involved with a swap and thought this one might be pretty easy for me. Reason #1 - I love teeny tiny things! #2 - I don't have time to do a lot of projects or even a single large project right now, so 3 tiny things is perfect. And #3 - I WAS a hippie! Hope I've outgrown the worst of it though - just left the cool things like flowers and bright colors and a love for crafting and recycling things into useful items and an appreciation for great music and a belief that we need to try harder to "Give peace a chance". And I'm a semi-retired English teacher, so the grammatical issues are intentional.

Looking forward to getting started. You all sound like a great group! (Does the 'you all' give away the fact that I'm a Southerner???)

I was born in Putney and we lived on wimbledon COmmon for a long time - lots of whole foods in my life so when i went to uni i rebelled and ate white bread and chicken burgers *_*
needless to say i felt the difference!
my first crafty memory is basting hexagons with papers for my mama to quilt

Please check it carefully to make sure you have all the correct information, and that you are listed as 'in progress' in your swap profile. Contact your partner asap to say 'hi' and keep in contact with them. If you don't hear from your partner within 24 hours, please let me know. Please post something on the swap thread at least once a week so that we know you're alive and crafting I'll also contact you regularly to check in. If you have any problems, please let me know and I'll do my best to help you out

So now you can start stalking!! Check out your partners information, their likes and dislikes and follow any links to their blogs, Wists, Pinterests etc, to find out what makes them tick. You have three weeks to craft three tiny/small things for them, so stalking them will make sure that you craft exactly the right thing for your partner! The Hippy Swap has a reputation for a killer gallery, so let's keep it up...
