These were a simple little craft I made recently for the Put a Bird on it swap.  I reused some plastic packaging as the molds and embedded peacock feathers in layers of mica powder tinted resin.  After curing, I trimmed the edges, sanded them down, buffed them smooth, and added some acrylic bumpers to the back.

It used a lot of resin, more than I expected, and also I used a jewelry grade resin (ICE resin), but that made a huge difference, because there were no bubbles at all, even though I fully expected there to be lots because of the feathers.

A bit more about them on my blog
